smiley-undecided.gifFeeling a little better today since my daughter solved her problem. They thing know once else has a crisis but them!!! They can be so.... self-centered. I love her dearly but sometimes I just wish she would leave me alone. I'd like her to call and not have anything bad to say just good stuff ie good job, boyfriend working out, place to live etc.. Too much to ask, yeah!!! They can be so... needy and they do not get the fact that maybe I'm having a crisis of my own and can't handle her's. Anyway enough of that!!

My hubby is actually home today, for the whole day!!! I'll sure be glad when this blueberry season is over, in about 2 weeks, and we can get back on a regular schedule. I think we are going to try and spray Roundup, a weed and grass killer on our new lot of land. It has just been allowed to grow wild for over12 years and there is some preety nasty stuff growing in it. If we don't kill it all off then any amount of fill or top soil we add will be a waste because the stuff will grow right through it. you know how stubborn weeds and unwanted grass can be!!

I am still on my nutrisystem diet, it's not too bad, I do miss some of the carbs like bread and potatoes on a regular bases. But over all it's not bad, the meals themselves are fairly decent but it's amazing what a portion size really looks like. Boy, do we over eat!!!! I'll find out tomorrow, weigh in day, how much I've lost. I have also kept my goal of going to the gym for 5 days a week.

Well, I better sign off stuff to do. Be well, Debbie

Hi, so glad your feeling better. Hope you enjoy your long weekend. You must miss getting prepared for a new school year at this time. Good luck getting control of all the weeds on your new property, they sure are hardy and can grow anywhere. Take care, hugs Cathy

I had a professional gardener help me once, and he would agree that Round Up is the only way to go. It\'s nice to here that hubby got to spend a day at home. I hope you feel a little better each day. Keep up the gym and diet. I couldn\'t do it. I have no will power!! Hugs and more hugs, Donna

Sounds like you are feeling a little better, that is good. Do you raise blueberrie\'s? There is a blueberry farm down the road from me, I pick every year. Hope all is well with your daughter, don\'t they rake you over the coals before they get it right. Hope you know that you have to mow down the weeds before you round-up or it will not work, Round-up is famous for not working, and only for six weeks, then the weeds come back. If you are not apposed to chemicals you can use ground clear and it really works but you still have to cut the weeds down, don\'t you just love bad news. Only know because I had to do it to about 1/2 of an acre, kills weeds for one year. Good luck. Naomi
