I am SO very glad I no longer live in Virginia. I would been terrified with the earthquake as I would be focusing on the hurricane approaching. Natural disasters are not something I like dealing with. The trailer would been toast if not after the earthquake then after the hurricane for certain as they are predicting it being a cat 3.
But... on the other hand, bad news. My blood sugar is highly out of control. It was 485 about two weeks ago. I've gotten it down to the 200s but it's not going lower... and of course, metformin keeps me in the bathroom.

Wow!!! I\'m sorry your blood sugar is so high. How high do they allow you to go? They\'re happy if my mother\'s stays at 120.
I didn\'t know that was a side effect of Metformin. Sounds like a pain. Isn\'t there something else you could take? Or are the other available meds even worse!!!?
Yes, I don\'t mind missing out on earthquakes and hurricanes!!!! It\'s bad enough living in tornado alley!!! That\'s quite enough excitement for me!!!
Good luck with your meds and your diet!! I hope you manage to get your blood sugar down to an acceptable level soon!!!! (((((Hugs)))))
