Dear God,
Dear God,
I am so sorry.I am guilty of making so many mistakes as a mother. I am guilty of...loving them too much, giving them too many gifts, keeping them safe from dangerous men by not dating, setting an example of sexual purity by not having sex outside of marriage as a single woman, leading them to You as their father, allowing them to experience their opinion and voice in differences, teaching them to be kind to others, encouraging them when they were discouraged and stand beside them when they could not stand them selves, praising them for their successes, sat up all night when they were sick and when they were home late, encouraged a continual relationship with their deceased father's family, driving them every where, buying them their first car, being a sholder to cry upon, attending every event they were in,giving them pets, parties, and St. Nicholas treasures, watched them grow even in the wrong way, leading them to believe their lives mattered in this huge world, being sad when they flew the coop and for having an illness that deleted all of the above.
Forgive me God, I'm mentally ill.

My dear friend your journal was heartbreaking to read. You were and are a great mom by the sounds of it. You did your best. I believe God has not forgotten all the sacrifices you made for your kids and He loves you dearly, even when others don\'t. Being mentally ill is a huge challenge to face. Just know if you need to talk I am here for you. I have struggled with similar issues as you have and I care.
