Well another day again. It seems as tho my days are all alike. I am going to the chiropractor today my lower back is keeping me awake. I imagine its the old age thing lol. It is kind of hard to write this morning, have been watching the news about the bridge in Minn crashing and it just makes you feel so helpless. I pray for those people but at the same time i feel so numb with what i am going thru. Does anyone else feel like this? It is like those news helicopters that crashed in Phoenix last friday my dad and i were only about 6 miles away and it is like devastation everywhere but i am too devastated myself to feel anything. Ok, maybe i am just babbling here but i don't feel human anymore. I will quit for now. I hope you all have a blessed day and i will be on here later Dawn Jake'a mom

Dawn, you are human. I understand the numbness very well. We all do. I watched the bridge yesterday and the helicopters last week. All i think about is more mom\'s feeling the same way I do. Lost. We will find a brighter day. Lots of hugs, jake\'s mom, kathy
I live 21/2 miles from the crash site. It\'s kinda eerie driving by there. Do you know how close they came to crashing right into the VA hospital? Yards. Not much of a talker today. Love to you.
I do feel pain for others but you are right, it doesn\'t touch the pain in your soul for the loss of your own child. I would never wish this on anyone. It changes your life completely and leaves a void that you simply cannot fix.
dawn..ur not alone with these feeling..jusy know that!!!...i myself aM worried about this world..and when i see this stuff on tv and facing me its all a scarey thought..but im nunb also and walking with ya***love ya ..DIANA
sometimes i just turn off the news on the tv or radio. i don\'t want to hear it or see it. i feel so bad for these individuals and their families. horrible, horrible! take time for you and rest. love you! ~~ charlayne
Dawn At one point or another in this journey we have all felt that way. You hurt so much you have nothing left over for anyone else. I too turn offf the news and try not to focus on the terrible stuff in our world. Wrap youself in cotton wool right now you need insulation to begin to heal. Love and hugs Cathy
Dawn \"it\'s ok to feel however you are feeling!\" The most freeing thing anyone told me while I was feeling so lost and filled with grief were those exact words. Each event that happens from the day we were \"changed\" has new meaning. Everything touchs us with more depth and definition... does that make sense??? So I like many of the others here have turned off the TV, stopped reading the paper and try to listen to the happy events(if that\'s possible to find). Hugs for strength and love, Vera ~ Erick\'s mom
The events at VA Tech happened just a few days after Leo died and at the time I could feel absolutely nothing at all. I can so understand what you are talking about.
