PUPO!
Today was transfer day! We transferred 2 blastocysts and were able to speak to the embryologist while we were there, all 15 are still kicking it!! We had 10 that were in great quality (we transferred 2 of those) and we have 5 that they will watch until tomorrow and freeze the ones that remain. He said he was hopeful for 1 more so that leaves us with 11 total embryos and 9 frosties if the one tomorrow makes it. i am super happy with those numbers! Especially because they all are good quality He didn't give us any specifics as to the grades they all are but that's ok, as long as the 2 we transferred were good quality, we are perfectly content! I'll see if I can upload a pic of our little embies :)
My RE told us that medically he recommended only putting in 1 because the embryos were doing so well and my age, 30. But we have said 2 from the very beginning so that's what we did. He is also very low-key when it comes to activities i should be doing. He doesn't believe in bed rest, unless you want to, as his reasonings are that there are millions of people who get pregnant all the time and don't need to be on bedrest during the implantation time so it doesn't have to be too different going though these fertility treatments. He doesn't want me doing anything more than waking though, so no yoga or dancing for now! I am totally fine with that and am laying low today but I feel ok with the idea of getting up when needed :)
I am just so excited to be able to say PUPO! I just have had a great feeling this entire process and even if this round doesn't work, I totally believe that this is the path we were meant to take. I also have a strong testament to the fact that once we are done having our children, we want to donate our remaining embryos to other couples. I feel so strongly about this and deep down feel like maybe this is why we were able to make so many frosties.
Thank you all for thinking of me and sending such good thoughts my way! The beta is on the 19th and I will obviously update once I know something!
Thinking of you all, always!
