isisi am trying 2 balance allowing her 2 b a child and teaching her how 2 protect herself and avoid danger.  i let her watch a special on hazing. i explained 2 her what hazing is and that she does have 2 allow it 2 b done 2 her. just seems that so much is happening these days younger and younger i dont want 2 have 2 address a situation after it happens. i want her 2 already know that noone has the right 2 hurt her; not even 2 get on a team or a club.  i explained 2 her what sex is...the basics.  as she grows ill give more info.  i dont want it 2 b a shock when shes actually in puberty.  they r children but the world attacks them just like adults.  so they need 2 b prepared.  i  pray im doing the right thing.  i dont want the secrecy. thats what allows stuff like hazing and abuse 2 continue.  secrecy.  she told me half way through the special that she did not want 2 watch anymore.  she was crying. i hope that she will remember this experience. that she will steer clear of hazing and that she will never haze anyone.
