Dad called today, angry about his life and the fact that my step-daughter is still a part of my life. He wants her out of my life, so he hung up on me.
Dear dad's calls are now being forwarded to voice mail where I have left him a personal message.
I will not be held hostage anymore! Oh, and i had a wonderful day at home, just me, my dog, and my bird.

sometimes that is what we have to do for ourselves.....just be by our self, exclude all others and enjoy the time alone....I know lately I\'ve been enjoying my time alone, not sure what that means but I find I am liking it....lol, guess I like my own company better...take care, keeping you in my thoughts and prayers....hugs, Sandi

Its best that his calls go to voice message. You don\'t need to take his harrassing phone calls or conversations anymore.
Enjoy your dog and bird and time for yourself. You need it.
I enjoy my own company as well. I wonder if its the age factor or maturity.
