Tired
I so didn't want to work out. I wanted to sit on the sofa and eat something really really bad, like Butterfingers and fish and chips. I was all set to do just that. Then I remembered that I am 56 and live in a town house. Which means, if I sit and eat, I'll be to sluggish to get up the stairs. I won't be able to lift anything either. And that's the thing about being over 50. If I were younger I could eat all I wanted and still get up those stairs. The body forgives the young and foolish. But not the old and tired.
So, I took my tired self downstairs and did 20 minutes of kettle bell and a one mile walk with weights. Now, I'm feeling like a young chick--a tired young chick(lol).

So glad u managed to talk yourself into that workout. Now if only I. Could do that to myself. Good job.. have a pleasant holiday season. Hugs
I\'m so proud of you....keep up the good work....hugs, Sandi
Congratulations! I worked passed that \"I don\'t want to do it\" and encouraged yourself to do it. Three days a week at the age of 56 I babysit my 2 1/2 year old grandson who goes up and down those stairs a lot. It keeps me heart healthy at the very least. All the best to you and keep up the good work from Diane B.
