well, we had our nightly sessions now 2 weeks in a row. This past week I took off the parental controls on the tv. I told him to go on the computer.
His therapist told my therapist at their lil' phone meeting how I'm sherriffing/policing/prohibiting his recovery...W>>>T>>>F>>>
I asked him 2 months ago if he felt he was ready for the tv controls to go away...he said NO...now, this is all my fault...and, he took it upon himself to be away from the computer, although I've been edging him on.
I kept my cool during our session last night, although I was mad.
He told me one of the main reasons for his "acting out" was lonely....He had nothing to say when I brought this up....that he was watching porn when I was home, when I was awake, when I walked into the ROOM.
One year. That is what is said. No major life changing decisions for one year after the discovery. I am now 7 months in. And, I still have my fury...my anger...my rage...I just went from him seeing me that way, to in the garage, to going in my car for a lil drive. He has NO idea the extent of my pain

I think you handled yourself well. I\'m not sure what is supposed to happen exactly in one year but be patient and give yourself more time. It can take a few years for you both to heal individually and come back together in the marriage. Huge hug

I don\'t know either about one year, other than me telling him that\'s what I read. I read that it can take one year to see through our grief, through our pain and rage, ...., to see the whole picture not thru such anger. That\'s what I\'ve given. One year for my pain and anger to subside some. For one year for him to show change and promise. for one year for me to actually be happy in this marriage. One year I made myself endure this type of agony.

One year.
