It's raining out and lightning earlier, I got gas and bloating ,,I tend to get that a lot ,,,and it is four days till my 63rd birthday,,the end of the world is in 10days, and I am about to get kicked off of Florida U/C. Good thing that I have most of my bills paid up...Seems that this is the month that the various people I meet online (5 by my last count) are exceedingly depressed ,,,well this is the month for it ,,,,This might sound kinda strange, at least it does to me ,,,this is the first holiday season that I have not been particularly holiday blue or holiday miserable ,,,it just hasn't hit me as hard this year I guess..perhaps it will show up in a while ,,,I dunno,,,, nothing much has changed to make the season brighter ,,,I am still alive or as I call it being somewhat vertical and not conditionally horizontal,,though I still sleep to much when I can fall asleep,,,which continues to be an issue for me now and again,,such as tonite,,
Me and my new cat are finally connecting ,,,he has come out of his catatonic state,,,(couldn't help myself ,,that was too easy) ,,I was almost inclined to use the Vulcan Mind-meld on my cat ,,,didn't have to come to that ...haven't given the cat a full access pass to the rest of my house yet ,,,he has a sneaky disposition and is apt to hide in the most remote of locations ,,not that this is a huge place ,,but it would still be a problem,,,I attached a good sized jingle bell to his collar as a give away should he decide to pull a fast one ,,,closed off the closets ...so that also limits the possibilities ,,,
Went to the Goodwill again yesterday,,and they had a cat-stratch board contraption,,and a very large wicker basket ,,I already had the pillow for it ,,,needless to say he ignored them both,,,which is fine ,,,,it will just come out of his allowance ,,,  :)    I moved my tower fan into the other room with  the cat and he of course plopped right in front of that soon enough,,,he was somewhat unsure of what this thing was ,,,but a couple of encounters convinced him that it was a good thing.
Seems that the morons in Northern Florida ,,we have a few down here, but mostly they live north of Orlando,,something in the water no doubt ,,,have petitioned Washington to allow Florida to seceed from the Union,,,(officially)..which I have always advocated a division between North and South Florida as two separate States ..but no one seems to want to listen to me ,,
The only real job I am qualified for should I return to work ,,which I wouldn't mind doing is in social services at some level,,but as those jobs are dependent on either gov't grants, budgetary funding, or ever dwindling State service agency contracts ,,the chances seem to become less and less with every passing month,,,,
