It\'s almsot 4 years for me, too. Still very new and fresh. Of course there are days that are worse, sadder, more painful. It\'s good to find distraction if you can. I am very sorry for our plight. I miss my Jake more all the time. Love, Abby

It has been 2 years for me..I am worn out from trying not to think about losing my son. He was 36..I stay busy..it is the only way I can survive....Try and breath~ that is all we can do some times!! Hugs!

Gentle hugs to you, my friend! It has only been 6 months for me, since I said good bye to my sweet angel, Colleen. Every day is a mountain to get over!!!

These days and times are felt so very deeply, I know. Just lean into it as you are, feel it and then use the tools that you have to help yourself navigate your day as gently as you can.

I have found on my path that my tools change as I do. Perhaps it is time to step back and look within and listen to what you are needing now.

Loving care and SO much understanding,
XO Joanie

It does have a way of creeping up on you and then attack ! My 3rd year was the worse, but each of us are on a different time slot with grief.. Adjusting to it is very hard on your own. Help by meds or talking to a professional is always open to you. Remember you must take care of YOU no one else is incharge. I do worry about you at this point , keep in touch on how things are going.

Lisa\'s 4th Angel Day was on December 1. I recall that we were both new to FMO 4 years ago. Some days I feel like I have made progress - I feel like I have the world by the tail - and then the bottom falls out. That yearning to give our kids a hug will always be there.
I worry about you Sandi. You have had so much pain - physically and emotionally. I am sure you are drained.
Please look after yourself. And know that you are not alone on this horrendous journey.
Love and hugs,
Marlene

I can just say how I feel it will be 3years for me in May. I don\'t think my begging depressed over loosing Jackie will go away. I don\'t think that emptiness in my heart ,missing her so much I want to scream , longing to see her beautiful face and smile wilhl ever go away. But I will cope. A little better each day and when that day comes when it\'s too overwhelmping and I\'m at that dark place again. I go in my room I read cards she sent me and look at her pictures and cry and cry and cry searching for answers again that I will never get. One day at a time. I am laughing again and even having fun. Jackie would not want me wasteing whatever life I have left being unhappy all the time. Be gentle with yourself and do everything at your own pace. Love and understanding always gail

Sandi, you are doing the best you can. One thing that helps me is knowing that Ed wants me to have peace. I try to remember that and it helps me to remember that a season of grief will pass and I will feel a bit better over time. Love and gentle hugs, Linda
