OMG
I was admitted to the hospital last Saturday with pneumonia. I caught it early so it did not hit me so hard. I am home now and still on the antibiotic and prednisone.
I have an appointment with a new pulmonary doctor, Kidney doctor and I just changed my cardiologist. My new heart dr tells me that the metoprolol I have been taking not only interferes with another heart med but it is bad for my lung problem. I have been on these drugs for 4 years causing damage the whole time. Kidney dr does not want me to take water pill any longer, it has affected my kidneys. If anything good came out of this it is that I have found dr's that care and know what they are doing....(so far).
I am feeling pretty good not anything like when I came home from the hospital in January.
I will never stop fighting.
