for the 1st time in my 37 years I feel (and hope) that I am facing the anxiety and depressive issues that have shaped so much of my last 14 years. am taking xanax and wellbutrin and don't know if they are counteracting each other, but am feeling a bit better day by day. have had some setbacks in the last week with work pressures/stresses. can also really see how these issues affect how sharp/focused you can or can't be depending upon how this condition affects you.

i still struggle with the ramifications of certain employment/geographical choices that I have made in the last year or so. i truly believed that myself and my family would be better off in another environment/state than where we are now. i suppose it did not happen simply because i had too much of closed mind to different opportunities and had an "all or nothing" approach in pursuing a specific opportunity in a specific area that I was/am probably too emotionally attached to.

am learning a lot about myself and what i truly need to change to get thru this. i need a friend.... seems like the therapist i am seeing is listening but the feedback is not as much as i would like at this point.

i suppose the item that i didn\'t really get into in the wednesday entry is that my wife\'s family lives predominately where we live now, and my family/some friends live in a state where I grew up an sometimes i really wonder why I left. I feel that there is this big hole in my life since I rarely get to see much of my family/friends. i had the chance to change that at this time last year and i didn\'t do it. i feel i should have, and it continues to eat away at me to this day.
