I haven't journalled for quite a while but my DS family is always in my thoughts, especially those of you who are doing it tough.
We have had our lovely Canadian friends staying with us for a week which has been wonderful, except that one has been unlucky enough to get a gastro virus which has kept her in bed since Friday afternoon. Thank goodness she is feeling much better and was able to eat tonight with no after effects. We have spent time showing off our beautiful harbour, a ferry trip across the harbour, the beaches south of Sydney and the South Coast.
We are driving them up to Queensland over the next few days to stay with mutual friends for a week or so before they head up to Cairns and the Barrier Reef. We'll head over to the Gold Coast for a few days, catching up with other friends, before we head home again.
So, if I'm not around for the next two weeks or so, you'll know why. I will be thinking of you all.

Thank you all, my friends, for your lovely comments and wishes. We had a a good time and lots of laughs with our friends up north and then meandered back down the coast, arriving home last night.

Tim and i are really doing good and Tim, my miracle, has been feeling really good, i haven\'t been on DS to much there is so much sadness going on with our dear friends and i haven\'t been feeling my best and been off the computer alot of the time this year..
