After a couple of rollercoaster weeks with more "downs" than "ups", the honesty and kindness of a complete stranger has made my day. He found my cell phone (I didn't know I'd lost it) in a restaurant where we had lunch tody. He called my friend, who was the last person to phone me and between them they worked out it was my phone. He left it for me to collect in another restaurant close by, where his partner worked because he knew it would be safe there.
This has renewed my faith in human nature. I am so grateful to have my phone back, especially as we have to fly up north on Wednesday.
It is good to be able to share positive news with my DS friends. May you all have an enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

You got lucky my friend!! Did I tell you I lost mine the other morning at the place where I fish?? I won\'t bore you with the details. I managed to find it. Walked around with Norma\'s phone calling mine and finally heard the stupid thing!! Take Care, Hugs, Charlie

That\'s great news. I had that happen to me in February, when I dropped my phone in the parking lot at a trailhead, after a snowshoe hike. The woman who found it called the number listed for \"home,\" and we met at a local pub, where I bought her and her friend a glass of wine and had a delightful hour talking with them. Charlie is right, that you are lucky, but sweet that it DID happen.

You have a nice weekend, too, and a good trip.

Hugs,
