Even though it's not quite Winter here, it seems that the "cold and flu" bugs are everywhere. I've done more casual teaching in the last fortnight than in the three and a half years since I retired. I do enjoy it, I admit, but no way could I keep up this pace. I won't leave until I've marked all the work I've given - that's just the way I am.  Consequently I've put at least an hour onto my day. Thank goodness the school is only five minutes from home. Today was also very wet and cold and the poor children didn't have a chance to go outside. I will be very happy to stay inside at home tomorrow and hibernate like an old grizzly bear in trackies and Ugg boots. If you happen to see a  bear doing a bum-walk, you'll know who it is. LOL?
Actually, it's been good to be amongst lots of people and focus on something else rather than my Urologist appointment on Thursday. For someone who usually imagines the worst scenario, I have been very calm about this. It's only now that the "what ifs" are starting to run around my mind.
I saw my Rheumatologist yesterday and was asking questions about my RA. To cut to the quick, and not bore you, he said he'd now decided my RA is severe and also aggressive but the medication is doing a good job. He is such a lovely man, another of nature's gentlemen and wants me to ring him after the doctor's visit on Thursday. It was a CT scan he did for RA reasons that picked up the kidney tumour, so he probably has some ownership rights.
I hope today is a good day for you and God Bless each and every one of you wonderful people.
Love and hugs
Angel
