Time
I thought when I returned to classes, I would have a lot less time to spend here on DS. It is funny sometimes how life works because it ended up that my classes are sprawled out - and I have not enough time in between to really settle and focus on school work, but enough time that I don't want to just sit idle and wait!
Even when I am at home with the new additions, I have found that the little fellows love this round chair in my office (possibly because it is the only one they can actually get on by themselves at this point)! It works out pretty well for my school work and my time here because the puppies are contained in my office, the remainder of the house is relatively safe and I am able to manage some of my time!
It has been a hectic week with the big test (don't get results til Monday), vet visits, not enough sleep with puppies and knees, navigating the public school system and my son, but it has been good. I actually almost got tickled at the principal at the school. I know he really wanted my son to be in more trouble, but my son is so overtly blunt and honest that he just couldn't do it. He said, "you know, this would usually be a bigger problem, but when I talked to him, he was so honest and lacking attitude like most kids his age, I just couldn't do it." Welcome to the world of Aspergers. There are so many times that my son is just like a breath of fresh air!!!! It really reminds me of one of the first advocates we had - while talking about my son, she said, you know as long as you are homeschooling, you will have absolutely no problems, it is when the public is involved that you will need our services! I am not sure whether it is bad or good, but the truth of it is, I end up questioning the public (society) way more than my son.
Off for some sleep (while those puppies are actually doing the same)!!!

good luck with classes. Remind you of books I mentioned in mail yest. Both by same author. First written by boy with aspergers when he was 13 yrs old. Inspiring and v v gd books.
