Update
Just a short update from the Great White North: Today is the first day for about a week that I have been out walking. We had a lot of snow and then the temperatures plummeted. It is still very cold but there is no wind so I don't mind being out - I just bundle up.
I am doing resident satisfaction surveys at the Long Term Care facilities again. This is the 4th year. There are still quite a few staff there who always stroke my ego by asking me to come back. I was their manager several years back. It will take us a couple more weeks to finish. My neighbour and I are working together.
Joe is feeling much better. I tease him about taking rat poison - the anticoagulant he must take to thin his blood. He is feeling a bit more optimistic about our trip to India now. He was really afraid he would not be able to make it.
Andrew and Tiina spent the last week in Los Angeles. They were married 10 years ago but never had a proper honeymoon. They had a blast - they were not pleased with the blast of cold air that greeted them back home! Andrew snuck in a couple of meetings with producers. His agents are optimistic that he will be picked up to write for some series. Andrew is not holding his breath as he has heard that before. But they did take them out for a great dinner!
This time of year can be a real downer. The days are shorter so we have less sunshine. Lisa's 5th Angel Day is fast approaching, and of course Christmas - Lisa's favourite holiday.
The upside is that Cevyn will be here for Christmas. Her step mom wants to spend Christmas with her kids who all live here in Calgary.
So all in all, life goes on and I am working on being positive!
Lisa: Thank you for reminding me to Live Laugh Love. The wall hanging in the lady's room made me smile - especially when I realized she was wearing a t-shirt with dragon flies and butterflies on it. I miss you always and love you forever, Mummy

It\'s nice to get your feet wet working a little each year but knowing you don\'t have to if you don\'t want to.

I believe this time of year is a reflective time for each of us and thank goodness for all those precious memories we have and the chance to make a few new ones along the way as well.
Grateful you can bundle up and walk and I\'ve been doing the same, yet not bundling up. :) Everything always looks so very different when walking than seeing it from a car. We have lots of hills here so I\'ve really been feeling it and I have to watch out for lizards. LOL!
I know how much you will enjoy seeing Cevyn and take care my friend and Joe too.

I hope you have a wonderful trip to India..my Pastor and his wife are from India. He just finished a 2 week trip there today...a very poor country, yet parts are s beautiful.
