So sad

I was going to journal tonight and call it Green Smiley Sunday.  I go to work for a week again so won't be able to journal on Monday. 
It was a fairly good week.  I walked every day, spent time with friends and generally felt quite positive.  We went to a movie this afternoon - The Marigold Hotel with Judi Dench and Maggie Smith.  It was a lovely film - especially appealing to someone my age!!
We got home and I began to cook supper when the phone rang.  It was Lisa's friend calling.  She said "I have some bad news".  I immediately thought that her mother was ill - she'd had a heart attack a few years ago.  "Gregg is dead" she said.  Gregg is Susan's brother.  I felt sick - another mother has to endure what we are experiencing.  I spoke with Susan and her mother.  I am going to try to see her next weekend and I will invite her to join us. 
It really never does seem to end.
Lisa - I know you are with Gregg.  We will do our best to be a support to Susan and her parents.  I feel so bad for Pat.  I miss you always and love you forever. Mummy
