Why is it always money? I feel so depressed all the time, for a very long time, and it's always been because of money...or rather, not having it. I remember my dad being in and out of work a lot throughout my childhood. I remember the house always being cold, sometimes not having heat or electric at all, or not knowing where food was coming from that day. It's not as bad as that now, but I'm always scared I'll end up like that again someday. I'm currently spending 1/2 my paycheck on gas, I can't save any money so I'm terrified because I don't have a cushion...I also am worried about school. Right now I get full aide to cover my community college classes, but I'll be maxing out my aide soon. Then what? I want to at least get my bachelors, how will pay for that? rather, how would I be able to do it anyways? Where would I live? With my dogs, that I can't leave at home, I can't live on campus and I can't afford off campus housing. The college I am looking at is not too far from home - but still too far to consider commuting. (2 hours) My boyfriend still hasn't found a job, making things even more stressful. He is looking, but not as hard as I think he could. I know the rejection is discouraging and hard for him, which makes it hard to keep looking. He put in some applications today, with a final statement about how he wasn't sure if it would be any good with someone so useless :( he is not useless and I'm so upset he feels that way about himself. I feel badly about myself because I cannot support us on my own. I hate myself for getting hurt.
