Depression
How does anyone deal with depression and grief when you lose your older brother. I only had two brothers: one older named Don and one younger named Gerald. I miss Don. He was my best friend, always in contact with one another and the sweetest soul. Its not the same. I miss him the most when I am home alone. He would phone to encourage me or tell me he was depressed & I would encourage him. We broke bread together. Our friends overlapped over time and as we got older & became adults. Its not the same anymore. The world lost one good soul that is for sure despite his Asperger's Syndrome.

I can\'t imagine losing my only brother and I am so sorry that you lost yours. I was scared when he had heart surgery. I\'m here for you always. Sharon
Its my older brother by 3 years. I have a younger brother by six years who lives on Vancouver Island. I don\'t see him much. Now that he is my only brother, I would like to be in more contact with him. Before I saw him once a year or every other year. That is not very much. Loss changes us and makes us re-evaluate our own lives. At least this time, I am evaluating my own life again. Re-evaluation can be a good thing.
