So I've had a rough day today, and it has very little to do with my RA. So many struggles have hit me at once, and today it has just hit me hard. I was sharing this with a friend earlier and she pulled out a verse from Isaiah chapter 43.  "When thou passest through the waters I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they will not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." Those words are so comforting. They reminded me that we do have a source of hope. I pray that this scripture will encourage all of you as well.
