I am new to this support group, but not to RA. I am only 18 years old but I have been dealing with rheumatoid for a little over a year now. It is difficult, being so young. I am a college student and out on my own for the first time, but I cannot enjoy college life the same as most other students do. I have difficulties in the little things that they do not. The past few days have been more difficult than normal. The weather has been cold, windy, and rainy. It has been difficult to get out of bed in the mornings and to make my self walk across campus to my classes. Getting up and down the numerous flights of steps with a full bookbag on my back has not been easy. I have had many late nights this week writing papers, and it has taken its toll as well. I ended up skipping my second class today. I can only hope that tomorrow will be a better day.

Hannah...welcome to DS. It kills me that you\'re having to deal w/this in the middle of going to school - when you need the most energy, I think. Are you on any meds for RA? I hope you find support and strength. It\'s helped me so much! Hugs, Lisa
Thanks, I am currently taking Celebrex. Thats it with the exception of glucosamine supplements. Being so young, and small, its hard for them to put me on too much medicine. It can be difficult keeping up with school through all this. Thanks again. Hugs, Hannah
WELCOME HANNAH......WRITE ANYTIME YOU NEED TO.......EVERYONE HERE HAS GOOD LISTENING EARS AND UNDERSTANDING HEARTS!
MAKE SURE AND TAKE TIME TO REST! (I CAN\'T HELP MYSELF HANNAH, I\'M A MOM :o) SERIOUSLY, I THINK REST IS MAJOR FOR SOMEONE CARRYING A LOAD AS YOU ARE!
MULTITUDES OF BLESSINGS TO YOU!
