Have not been on in a good while. Same old, same old. Up, down, all around..you do the HoKey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what it's all about.
Ex will be moving #4 here Thanksgiving week, while I am on my cruise. They will be married "some time after Thanksgiving". Have an idea he's been looking for a job for her. Have reason to believe he was looking at the nursing home. He was asking me if I ever go over there anymore since my dad died in January. This was an out of the blue question. She drives a muscle car-think it's red, or purple, or green- so I'm sure I will know if they are at the store or wherever if I go at the same time they are there. Whatever.
Think once she is here, they are married, and I've run in to them a few times, I will be alright. Going on a cruise Thanksgving week. Have an awesome trip planned for Christmas: drive to New Orleans for a few days, catch train to Atlanta for a few days. Back to N.O. for a few days and then home. Then I have my brother's wedding in May...so lots to look forward to.
Of course tis the season....that I hate. Anniversary of mom's death and all the crap that came after. January will be 1st anniversary of my dad's death which pretty much the last event of all that crap. Walking through the stores and seeing all the Thanksgiving/Christmas junk aggravates and depresses me.But I have gotten through it for over 50 years. I will get through it again.

I think that Thanksgiving cruise was a wonderful idea for you. You are preplanning for the holidays. Yes you will be okay when you happen to see the ex and the new woman. You are pretty good about thinking this over and then letting go.
Thanks Trish. If only I would stop picking it back up after I let go! hahahaha. Still on no contact though he did have to get in touch with me a week or so ago about the bankruptcy. The problem right now is getting them out of my head. But i do think once it\'s all over and done with, that will happen. Going to go back to my maiden name in January. Going to start walking/biking. Thinking of getting a punching bag to put in my apt. This that and the other. Still trying to get back in church and also bowl in the league. No luck with that so far. The spirit is willing but the body is weak. Actually I think the spirit is weak too. Those can be goals for 2014. Hope all is well with you!
Hi Jaclyn, so pleased to hear you have some great trips planned and things to look forward to, to help you through what can be such a tough time.
Just wanted to say that when you are in the Atlanta area at Christmas time, if you have time or want a break to do something different, it would be such fun to make a plan to meet and go for a coffee or a short hike or walk somewhere. Just let me know and we could exchange contact info.

oh cool, it would be. I will be there Dec 22 (late) until I leave on Dec 27. I think I am staying with the brother who lives in the Lawrenceville area. My other brother lives in the Woodstock area. That would be so cool. Is there a way you can send me your phone and info privately? I dont talk on the phone much because I am hearing impaired (though aids help alot). I mostly text. It would be nice to meet someone from here!
