So although I woke up after 9 hours of sleep, it was so dark outside, I turned over and put a pillow over my head for about another hour...
A storm is hitting our area and it is cold and raining outside. Nothing like freezing rain to keep you indoors and a little bit gloomy.
I edited my resume today and sent it to a temp agency. A friend on DS mentioned they were going to look for temp work, so I thought I might try that as a less stressful inroad to getting back on my feet.
Editing a resume that goes back to 1991 is a strange mind trip. I could see all the jobs and times of my life flashing before my very eyes. I managed to apply to one temp agency online. We'll see if they bother to get back to me.
No walk today due to the nasty nasty weather. I feel sort of guilty - like it was a cop out, but I'll try to walk over the weekend. If not the next few days I know we'll be walking a lot on the East coast next week. I hope I will have the energy to make it out and about and with my friends. I feel like being with people will be a truer test of how much better I'm getting. When I'm not depressed, I love being with my friends. When I am depressed, I start to think, "I'd rather be in bed," or "I'd like to be alone now," when I'm with people.
We shall see what tomorrow brings.

Enjoy your friends and I hope the endeavor will be well worth the effort. But at least you are trying.
