Didn't sleep enough last night. Had a couple glasses of wine before bed, being social with a co-worker. Had to sleep at her place as we had to make the 4 hour drive out of town for work this morning. It isĀ getting harder and harder to get out of bed these days. Maybe the winter, maybe the meds, maybe other unknown variables. Not sure why things areĀ seeming slower than molasses for me lately. I woke, and ate although I wasn't hungry. Then, I had to drive. We stopped off at Starbucks so I could get some coffee, but I felt like I was swimming while I was driving. The second we got on the road, I began to melt down. Fear of driving anywhere near the speed limit. Felt like my whole body was locking up. Like I was melting into the steering wheel. I couldn't get my hands off the wheel, felt like they became a part of it. I couldn't keep my eyes open.. I was so scared, afraid of getting into a car accident. We had to pull over 3 times, I had to walk around, get chewing gum, some soda...I felt so absolutely disconnected from reality. Closest to a complete public meltdown I have come in years. It took me 3 hours to come back to nearing normalcy. I am feeling weaker and weaker, and having to put up more of a front every day. I know I would benefit from the hospital. I thought of going to the emergency room this morning, but I was with a coworker. I didn't know what to do. I had to stick it out. I was so afraid that I would get in a car accident and kill us both. I don't know where this is coming from all of a sudden. The anxiety has been magnified with each passing month, week, day.
