Why does it have to be so difficult? Why does it have to be so loud?
I hear her screaming in my mind. Saying I'll never escape this. That she has the only answer. Her answer is death. "Just give me control," she says. "Don't try to stop me," she says. "It's pointless. You know I will win in the end. You know you can't fight me forever." And more and more I think she's right. How long can I keep fighting her? She is a part of me after all. And she's not completely alone in her decisions. There are others who agree with her. She says it is the only way. That we need to get out of this life. That the longer we continue the more we'll get hurt. She says she's trying to protect us, to stop the hurt from happening. Could she be right? Cold this be the answer?
I've heard her arguments for so long. And believing them seems so easy. After all, she has lived through it just as much as I have. We've all tried to stop her. But slowly more of us are giving in. How long until she convinces us all? Maybe she is right . . .

Raven sounds like she is driven by fear and hopelessness. The best way to help her is to show her that she is loved, and that life has hope now. If she can realize that you are no longer in danger, it can help her be less driven toward depression, fear and anger. That is how it was for me (Lillith)
What I have found for myself is that these alters with these measures of solving life situations often experienced the worse of the trauma we went through. Yes it does become difficult to contend with especially when our lives seem so difficult. For myself Iwas required to find something that interested my s personalities. This gave them something to live for and helped them realize that life wasn\'t to be feared anymore. That\'s not to say it solved everything but it helped.
Ugh, all she\'s interested in is being angry at the world and plotting ways to die :(
