SPRING
It seems spring may have finally decided to stay awhile here in North Alabama. Since it usually only lasts about a week, we need to enjoy it. However the grass is ready for mowing and trimming, the pool must be gotten ready for summer (no easy job) The pollen needs to be hosed off the porch and the patio furniture set out. There are a few other things to do but I'm wondering why I have been so longing for Spring. The dreary days of chill don't seem so bad in retrospect but the major point here is no matter the season or situation we rarely appreciate what we have. Always looking back or dreaming of tomorrow, we don't always appreciate today. Tomorrow, I will not mow, weed, trim, hose or any other mundane chore. Tomorrow I will sit in the sun and watch my grandson play baseball. The rest can wait.
