I was diagnosed with Boderline Personality Disorder about 10yrs or so ago. The therapist I have been with for about 4yrs now says I'am about 100% cured. Life certianly does seem better.
I just got done reading the true life story of a woman with BPD and her story about 4yrs to get better too. I found the book very insightful. My therapist never really told me she was treating me for BPD. She just gave me different tasks to work on and try to think of things differently. But after reading the book I have been able to put alot of things about myself and my past together. Which has made it much easier to understand that the things I was feeling and the emotional hell I was in wasn't entirely my fault.
One day I just got tired of all the bullshit and just let go of most of the things that were bothering me. They just didn't matter anymore.
I really don't expect anyone to read this, but it is nice to write it down. I really suck at writing. I jump around alot. People should try being in my head!
