Had my first sonogram today. I'm 9 weeks and 4 days. My little one's heartbeat was 171!! The nurse said when they're that tiny they just beat that fast. I think it's because they're growing so rapidly. I keep wanting to call it my little peanut but that was Nickolus's nickname from my parents and I don't want it to be like I'm replacing him because I'm not, I never could. I think I'll just stick with little one for this baby for now. My dad needs to reinstall our printer so I can scan the sonogram pics to show everyone. It looked like a teeny tiny baby on the monitor when I got the sonogram but the pictures looks like a little peanut. I was afraid of that because I'm so early. With Nickolus I was 11 weeks and 1 day and you could see him very well but not this one!! I got scared when they showed the heart movement because it didn't really look like anything but the nurse said it was flickering which is what it should be doing right now. I'm going to try and get my doctor to let me do another one in like 4-6 weeks so I can get better pictures and help ease my mind some more because this one was relatively short because they couldn't really do anything because the baby is just too small. I'm due March 22nd. My birthday is March 29th but I was due St. Patty's day on March 17th so I'm thinking about doing it then. I have to schedule ahead before my due date because I have to have a cesarian. FUN!! (sarcasim...) I hope everyone is doing well!! Hugs to everyone.
