I was feeling pretty low, then came here and read some posts and felt my problems aren't so bad. That old adage that if you put all your problems inyo a container with everyone else's you'd take your own back? It's totally true. I have been doing some heavy "woe is me" thinking and not being grateful for what is going right in my life. There is so much to be thankful for:
My health is good. Fibro flares have been far and few between, and I have been lucky that I can continue to exercise. I'm still exercising 6-7 times a week.
I've lost 22.6 pounds. I'd like to lose an additional 10 lbs. before the end of the year and I'm actively working on that.
Energy levels are good, not amazing, but at least I don't feel that I need to give up full time work like I did last year at this time.
Hubby is healthy and so are my offspring. My elderly parents are also healthy without getting sick from Covid19.
Working during Covid19 has gotten a little nerve wracking, but I have a good job and I am getting paid. That is not something everyone can say.
I do feel like I need some kind of project to work on. I was heavily considering going for my doctorate a couple years ago, but that is too much for me to pursue. I have some energy but I don't have the energy for THAT. I will need to do some thinking in regards to my next project.
