Nothing like a small crisis to liven things up a bit ,,,,I find that I get thrown into auto-anxiety mode when this happens and it is just a matter of attempting to calm down and working it through,,,seems that the door locking mechanism on my truck is not functioning and currently it is in the locked position on the drivers side,,something obviously was dislodged and the key will not operate on the locking mechanism,,,,which makes me nuts as hell,,,I thought at first it was just a sticking lock,,well no such luck,,,
Other than that I have not journaled on here for a while ,,,,my doctor has rescheduled my appt, for the end of the month,,,not a big deal,,,,,Got the leak in my roof dealt with,,,at least I think so,,a couple of good rains should tell,,,we have had some modest rains since and so far it is good,,,,,it was in just one small section which is pretty fortunate as it could have been a massive job,,,,
I continue with volunteering at the Outreach Center ,,,,which is good,,one day a week,,,I need to expand this into something a bit more in the coming weeks I think,,
I wanna get back into muffins and brownies ,,,I got out of that for a while ,,,it is time to return I think...
Less than 4 weeks till election day,,will I be glad when all of this is over and done with..... Still jumping through the hoops with the U/C office ,,

I\'m glad the roof leak appears fixed. I have a small one also to mend.
Yes, things not working as they should can trigger for sure.
Great about volunteering. I used to do a lot of that when not so ill and miss it very much.

Hi Neil, hope u can get ur lock fixed so it doesn\'t continue to drive u buggy. I\'m texting from a diner. My check engine light soon is on, wonder how long soon means, ha, glad u r still enjoying volunteering, u r right?
Will u hire someone to repair ir roof? B careful if u attempt. Did I tell u I got speeding ticket? First one in....25 years. $80 ouch in Delaware. Doing 67 in a 40....I was lost getting my daughter in college. Have to go to work.
So are u planning any special muffin recipes for thanksgiving or holidays? I\'ll purchase some. Have a good weekend . Me
Car lock is fixed, I had a bit of a scare with mis-communication on what kind of locking system I had,,,I do not electronic,,and was quoted that price instead of the standard door lock assembly,,,was less than half the price of the other ,,,still it was a dealer only part ,,,but it was a wear out part and after 8 yrs it just wore out I guess,,,
If your check engine light came on ,,,it is best to get it checked out ,,,,could be anything ...most likely a sensor went bad ,,but it could also be something serious ,,,any mechanic should be able to run a diagnostic on the engine and tell you.
I hate to say this but you are lucky,,,here in Florida any speeding ticket is well over $100 to start and at that speed probably closer to $200+
This guy I know does all kinds of repair work,,,and he did the repairs ,,,it has rained here fairly heavily and so far it has not leaked and held its own,,,it was a small drip leak that I had let go for a while ,,now iti\'s taken care of ,,,
It cost a hell of a lot less than having to go through a roofing guy or contractor,,,
