Meh. Been up and down of course. Saw him at the store twice. He didnt see me. Kinda felt like a pinch instead of the usual knife in the heart, so progress, right?
Other things going on have been at the forefront. At work I was transferred to a different department. Came up suddenly and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I suffer from clinical depression. I'm on meds and I'm in counseling, but still...I miss a lot of work. Any other place would have fired me by now. But they have been great. Very very supportive through my parents deaths and all the other crap that's happened over the last 4 years. But now things have settled down and my feeling is that regardless of how they presented it to me, they needed someone in the office who would be there more. And that's valid.
So they told me they needed me to help them out. That they needed someone with accounting background to transfer to receiving/warehouse. Blah blah blah. I said sure. Poof...i was moved and they'd already hired someone to take my place. You know I am hearing impaired. The first day at the warehouse, i saw that 2 others are hearing impaired and 2 have vision problems. I told my friends I didnt get banished to Siberia. I got dumped at the Island of Broken Toys. hahaha
But, it hasnt been bad. Almost all men, which is fine. The work is not difficult or complicated so far. And it could very easily be for the best. I dont know if its the meds, the long term stress I was under or what, but I was having some probs in the other office. I was making mistakes I shouldnt have been making. But i felt like my brain was in a fog. I've had problems off and on focusing and remembering things. That may not be a problem in the Warehouse since the work seems to be much much simpler.
At any rate, I am making more of an effort.
Tonight found out one of the dogs that I had to leave with ex, has gone blind in one eye. It's most likely from age. Makes me sad.
