I donated blood today. It was fun. I got a tshirt and cookies, and punch, which is the best part, other than saving lives, of donating blood. My hand went numb about 5 minutes in, but that's mostly because my bp is so low. It was 100/51. I went to the doctor's friday, and got my tetanus shot, as well as my heart checked out. My bp drops really low when I sit or lay down, so when I stand up it's not high enough to move the blood quickly to the other parts of my body so I get lightheaded and see black dor a little bit. So doc said eat more salt, calcium, and move more "Geriatric-like" when I got to stand up, which is gonna be a toughy for me because I am an active person, and I like to move quickly. I had a job interview today to halp run activities at a school that teaches mainly in a foreign language (French and Spanish). I am hoping to help with the French classes because I've taken 4 1/2 years of it, and I'm taking 5 credit hours in college. Not to mention I love working with kids. I have orientation Friday. Classes are getting closer. I'm excited about the challenge of the classroom, and doing activities, and meeting new people. I think I'm going to like it a lot better at this college than the one I was attending. The distance between my other half is hard, and sometimes I have moments where I just want to sit and cry. I miss Jeremiah, and I want to make him proud of mommy. I am gooing to give him brothers and sisters as soon as I'm done with college and things are a lot more stable. I realized that I would not have been able to give my baby nearly as much right now, although that does not change that I wish he was still in my womb growing. I love my unborn child, and all my future children. They all have special place in my heart. I am going to make my children proud to call me their mother, or at least try to the best of my ability. Because I am already proud to be their mother, and they have yet to be conceived. Life is precious. LOVE is precious. Here's to taking each day and making it better than the next.
