It's June, yikes! Where has the year gone? Soon it will be summer and I am glad for the warmer weather.
It took a bit, but I have refocused myself to myself, for now. I decided that I needed to spend some time making sure that I took care of business at home with some projects that I had put on the back burner in regards to organizing, etc. We have lived in this house for three years and we are still fixing a lot of things. One thing that hasn't been done is organizing the garage. I'd like cabinets where I can put things I don't use on a daily basis, but can get to when I need them. Sometimes I am frazzled as I work in the kitchen with so much clutter falling on top of me when I open a cupboard.
I have out together a plan to pay off some bills and get other things done on my to-do list. At first I was afraid that I might be procrastinating my bigger life goals, but when I look at how much I've been depressed and hyper focused on my relationship I know I nee a moment to step back and regroup.
I tend to reorganize my life just before I embark on a new chapter and I feel that I am doing that now. It will take some time and I'm okay with that. If by this time next year I have not moved on to bigger goals then I will have no excuse. I just need to make sure that I am not waiting for absolutely everything to be ready.
“If we wait for the moment when everything, absolutely everything is ready, we shall never begin.” ~ Ivan Turgenev
