I stated home from work today due to a very bad headache.  This is my second such headache this month and my fifth one this year.  I called the doctor and got a prescription.  I have already begun to feel better this afternoon, it took a while, but I do feel better.

I think these health issues that have suddenly crept up on me recently have really contributed poorly to a depressive mood.  I am taking some action to work on the health issues and hoping to make some prpgprog towards better health every day.

I decided I needed to join a local Coda group.  The meetings are on Sundays.  I previously sought out a group not in my area because I have trust issues and didn't want people spreading what I shared.  I know it's supposed to be anonymous, but people always talk.  In my area there is no more than 2 degrees of separation between me and anyone else in my town.

I feel I don't have enough just trying on my own.  I need others to call me out and push me towards improvement.  I need to take some time to focus on myself and quit focusing on my husband.  I hope it helps.

What you said was exactly what I did because I felt I had to. After my divorce, I focused on myself. I did the things I wanted to do. I spent 24 years living my life through someone else, always catering to her needs wants and desires so when I was alone for the first time in my life, it was a shock to my system and I was almost traumatized being alone... I didn't even know who I was anymore!

So I set out on a search to find myself and to discover who Bob was! Every day became an adventure and every day I was getting pleasure from the little things in life......and there is much more to the story!.........

God Bless
