What happened to the party???

I wasn't feeling well yesterday and I came on here today thinking I missed GB's big birthday bash but then I come here and see no sign of any party... did I miss something? Are we doing it on another day or something?

Well, I hope the birthday was fun even without any other goings on on here, GB! (And I'm down for a belated party if you are!)

@TES... I am afraid I am not the ideal friend or party planner. I was checking in before, but forgot to even post her the morning of her big day. (also under the weather and coming out of another funk) I did not realize that all would have come back here to contribute and party that day. (Thought it was just for us to imagine what we would have done had we been able to get together) From now on, I will leave the party planning to you guys. I would love to see how you all do party..

PS I don't think she could have too many well wishes or celebrations (late or otherwise)

No sweat veggiequeen, virtual parties aren't the easiest thing to do with everyone essentially "attending" when it's convenient for them to get online rather than everyone being on at the same time so really the hard part is coming up with the visual and then hoping others will join in. Sometimes they do (like our Halloween party, which was semi-successful) and sometimes they don't (like our New Year's bash was, sadly, a dud). Thus far, our birthday celebrations have mostly just been an announcement (tailored to the member when applicable) after which others add their well wishes and cheers, so we haven't really planned for a full on birthday party before. Perhaps we need to put out a feeler for whether members are even down for full on virtual parties or not before we attempt another....

That said, I think you are right with regard to the well wishes and celebratory love for GB, so I hope others who haven't had the chance to send her some love might take the moment to do so because she could use the support right about now.
