Deer have been plentiful this year on my property. My uncle got enough to bring me lots of fresh meat and some deer burger he had packaged (in exchange for hunting priveleges) so now my little deep freeze is well stocked. Already enjoyed a roast, vegetable soup, and venison schnitzel! I wonder if I will get any wild boar this year? Will have to get my bow repaired if I want any turkey.

Used to not be boar here but someone (so the rumor goes) had some for pets and they excaped. Now they are a public nuisance and no season on them, you're free to kill as many as you want. Turkeys are everywhere too, as well as foxes and bobcats. Beaver are also a nuisance. They are actually really delicious. I guess that's just what happens when there is alot of open acreage and not as many people. I'd like to keep it that way!
