Writers With Post Traumatic Stress Disorder WWPTSD Community Group
I started this group because I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and I was an avid writer before the Event that caused PTSD. Ever since I have realized that writing is the key to me overcoming this and making myself whole again. I would like to reach out and support others on this journey or a similar one.

I can't believe you hate me so
You who touched and poked and prodded
You who held me down
Who dragged me down
A fragile child full of hope
A broken mind
Broken with a sudden silent crash
A splitting of synapses
A sad message
Dark and lonely, cold and sullen
You were a mirror of myself
You hurt me so
Why did you hurt me so
I still hurt like an insect stepped on
Distorted, twisting, soft breeze blowing
On which I cannot fly
Why

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
