In the School of Prayer

I'm learning many things as I experiment with prayer. I pray what I call "Even If" prayers, meaning that I will love the Lord and serve Him even if He doesn't answer me in a way I expected.

Thanks for sharing. I think that's the best way to pray.

But, for the longest time if God didn't provide what I was asking for right away I would question. In my case I already knew that He existed and that He was able, so I would question whether He cared. Though, I think a lot of people ask the first two questions also.

Anyway, I think I've finally learned to not question those things. The Bible tells us that God is, God can, and God cares. And, unanswered or denied prayers don't change that.

Now I'm wishing I knew more about what God will and won't do, then I could focus on asking for what He will do, and more of it.

Thanks for this, i was thinking about it this morning. I think i have gotten frustrated with God because he answers differently. But his ways qre higher than ours. Which comforts me.
