I'm writing to ask for prayer for generalized anxiety disorder. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been afraid of pretty much everything and everyone. As an adult, I went for counseling, but unlike the movies, there was never any dramatic discovery of an event from the past that caused my fear.

I'm about to go to church for the first time in a long time. Please pray that I will be able to feel the Holy Spirit's presence in my heart and that He will take all the fear from me.
