Dracona, my goodness you have been coming along, well done for finally seeing the back of your ex, what an absolutely evil, insane Narc! All Path narcs and abusers are Dark, and know no mercy when it comes to the D&D stage and the aftermath. I am trying to prepare my best friend for what she will have coming with her Path Narc H who she has left for another man. I predicted his downfall and I was right, she is very happy and loved up with her new man, but I have said that the minute her H. has dealt with the finances and paperwork his sick twisted mind will kick in and when he realises she has a new man to replace him, he will be a monster! These men are capable of anything, as you yourself have seen and thank God your new man is OK. He is indeed a star! Be careful of what and who you believe and look for total congruence between words and actions. You and your daughter deserve only the best. For those WWLTMs still with the narcs and abusers, never underestimate the potential for harm. I love and miss my ex NH but his anger and physical outbursts could well have ramped up into harming me or my kids. Always trust your instincts and what is happening in front of you ladies, the experts always say that abuse and violence of any sort will always escalate. Thank goodness Dracona and her daughter and new man are OK, and to every WWLTM stay safe and do not trust your abuser/Narc they are never to be trusted !

You must file a police report; this action of your ex is considered attempted murder/attempted homicide X2, depending on the state you live in.

You are morally and ethically required to report this. Someone is going to be killed by your ex if you let this slide.

And the responsibility is YOURS, not your new man's.

A report was filed. He was arrested a day later. the scariest part was, he had never met my new man, it could have been anyone standing in that driveway. He will be going away for a long time, especially since he was 5 months away from becoming an army officer... and he ran over my new bf hard enough to make the cop start shaking when he got there and saw it all. we were very lucky, only bruised kidneys and minor road rash. it was like some movie scene happening... when he got hit the first time, he was punching through the windshield to get to my ex to stop him, and when he got brake checked and ran over again and still got up... insane. he said his biggest fear is that if he hadnt been there, cause he was just an obstacle. apparently when my ex thought he was down he tried to run straight in the house, which is why the bf got up again even though he was hurt... and asked my ex if he wanted to go to hell with him, cause that was the only way he was getting to me. My ex wont be hurting anyone again. it was going to be over, either he went to jail, or he would have been killed. it was scary... the garbled text messages... the calling my roomates crying... i knew he was coming.
