I got lonely, yes...I got lonely. So I created an account on a dating site I've never been on - a friend of mine recommended. I checked it out before I created a profile. Seemed decent. I created a profile, and BOOM! who do I see?!
ugh. so yeah, I gotta see his face almost every single time I log on and I'm se freaken scared I'll accidentally click on his profile as im scrolling. sigh.
I have to say..I do feel satisfied that he's single. I really do hope that he's wallowing in loneliness. I really do hope that he saw my face and felt even just an ounce of remorse.

you do not have to see his face however. just close your account and be done.... you are choosing to keep your account and see his face everyday. and that's fine there is no judgment as long as you realize it is by choice.
He happens to be on this site and that sucks but he will not drive me away. He doesn't have that power. Sure i'll keep seeing his face but I get the feeling that the more I see it, the more i'll get de-sensitized by it.
Maybe this is exactly what needed to happen.
Some sites offer a "not interested" or "block" option on profiles you don't want to see on your home page..Might be worth a try.

I smoked heavily for 20 years and quit last January. Haven't touched a cigarette since. My dad, brother and most of my friends smoke and I'm around them all the time. So no, not ridiculous. Being around smokers has indeed desensitized the addiction.
I get that you might think my motivations are to get his attention. It's not the case though.
