Judge no one, respect others, and most of all respect yourself. If you do not like what someone is posting about, have the respect for them as a member, for yourself for being in recovery, and do not reply.

basically, if you cant say something nice or helpful, then just dont say it, and focus on your own recovery.

That is what I normally do. We are supposed to be here to help each other and if I am not able to be positive then, is better not to post.

It seems crazy we wouldn't be supporting each other. We all have been in every single step, and going back to do them again. Women should bring each other up not tear each other down. Most men & a lot of women love nothing more than to see a good cat fight, especially over a man. We must be better than that and hold ourselves to a higher standard.

Amen to that. I guess the more I think of this, the more it is probably a miracle that things do not get nasty more often knowing the level of hurt that is going on when people crawl into any support chat room.

What I have always enjoyed about this group is the level of awareness of the women here and how willing they are to take resonsibility for the choices they have made in their life.

for those of you that are growing and supporting each other, great and keep it up! i have met so many wonderful people here, and without them, i wouldnt be where i am now. we need each other.
this is our home away from home. and our escape when we feel we can talk to no one else. lets keep it this way.

do you guys know that this group is probably one of the most active groups around that continuously focuses on the issues and subjects at hand? and probably one of the most positive. there are other groups, love addiction, so on so forth, but you can post and it will take days to get a response.
here its nearly instantaneous. we have a great group here, lets keep it that way!

we can all have our depressed days, we are all entitled, there just was a thread that got out of hand, and caused a member to leave the group. there are 800 or more members and counting. not everyone is going to be friends, and we are all here for help for different reasons. and we are all in different stages of development. we just need to ignore those we dont like. thats it. end of story. there was no reason it should have gotten out of hand the way it did. thats why i posted this. those of you who are doing the right thing, great, those of you who needed this reminder, know who you are. and its a reminder for the future, if there is anything someone doesnt want to hear, leave it alone. and if it is highly inappropriate, im sure either myself or susy will delete it.
