Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
instead of asking him, or trying to initiate a conversation, try ignoring him for a week or so, not totally or like you are picking a fight. just go to the bathroom when he goes to leave, or basically make him come to you.
if you act like there is a problem then he will fight harder to hide it. if you act like everything is just fine and you are happy as can be he may feel deprived of the attention that you give him and seek you out. it may take a few days before he comes around, but he probably will. men like being ignored even less than women do. ( but they wont show it.)
like i said hon, stop trying so hard, you are wasting alot of energy. i know its hard and you feel alone.
but really, just stop trying. maybe when you arent there trying he will come around.
trying gets you no where but heartache, and i know you feel you love this man so much, but you need to push that away and look at yourself. YOU are what is important right now, not him.
he should be paying attention to you, and loving you in return, not pushing you away.
it sounds harsh, but you will hear alot of people saying "leave him"
usually because WWLTM need to learn to leave the men that hurt them, need to learn to start a new life, and not live pining over a man who will never return the affection. if he is willing to work with you on your road to better yourself, then great, but it doesnt sound like he is.
things are easier said than done, everyone has their own bottom, you have to find it for y ou, and find out what you can and cant live with. what you want your life to be like.
LOVE, RESPECT, HONOR... just a few to mention...
Have you asked him if he'd be willing to go to a counsellor...not just for the two of you... but for your whole family?
cause they dont start out that way... or maybe there are sighns that we miss... but it hurts.
the hardest part is accepting that it is not our fault.... but it is our fault if we choose to KEEP getting hurt... because we dont or cannot leave.. im going through this right now, and i want nothing more than to call him and beg him to come home....
