Hi I was recommended this book from my online depression group. It has been the most awesome experience reading it. I was looking for a support group and came to the right place it seems. :)
Anyway it seemed that I still had feelings for my ex-husband that were left over and it has been 7 years+ that we have been separated and divorced. He did a lot of horrible things to me but this has made me determine that I have been playing the victim role in life. I need to stop this. I need to take my responsibility and learn to move on. I really think I can put myself out there a little this year in looking for the right man but it has to be a slow process and I don't expect to meet anyone this year either.
I live with my mother and have two children by my ex-husband. They are 10 and 7.

It's really hard to get back out there so I admire your courage. You seem to have a level-headed approach to dating this time and aren't in a rush which is a great thing.
