Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
I am going to tell you the story of a Lady, that I will call "Lambda" here.
I met her in 2002 in another website which had a group for women who love too much.
We all were very active in that group, (te group does not exists anymore) and shared a lot about our lives,
our childhoods, our problems with men and so on.
Lambda and I simpathized and became close, sharing adressess, phone numbers, and inviting each other
to come visit from the other side of the Ocean (she lives in Canada).
She was 60 at that time and was trying to leave a 30 year marriage with a horrible man.
She seemed to be on good ways of recovery, finally took the big step and divorced and went to live alone
in a lovely tiny wooden Chalet next to the Niagara Falls. It was just lovely.
She wrote into a Gospell group and was singing soprano, she bought a piano and started taking piano lessons,
she wrote into pastry courses and was doing lovely decorated muffins to offer to her new friends. Her little son was 18 and lived near her. In that lovely tiny wooden home with flowers on the Windows, the boy would come every day after Highschool to visit his granny and have lovely talks with her.
I said to me at that time, all is well, Lambda is 62 and her life is now beautyful, this is a lovely succès story.
We kept in contact but two years ago I noticed she was not saying much about her lovely life.
Then silence.
Then to my hardest schock I see her on a picture on Facebook remarried. Jesus ! Lambda is remarried at the age of 75 !!! That is not the problem. I have a certain perception on pictures and a saw there her new husband. A man with a perverted and mean look. On top of it a CHINISE ! of 85 years old.
Well, Lambda lost all she had. This man made her move to a poor village in China. She lost her passeport and her name. She does not speak chinese. But the worst part is that this old man is doing sexual repugnant things on this 75 year old respectable Canadian granny.
This is over, I know. I have not heard from her for four months.
I will not say the concusion of this story which will speak to you by itself.
But this is a cunning disease.
(Lambda had had the most horrible childhood).
I pray a lot for her.

She sent this S.O.S. e-mail to me four months ago, that is when she told me of the repugnant sexual abuse she was being victim in the hands of that grey hair chinise old man. But it was a short e-mail.
And she doesn't write back.
I can't even call the Canadian embassy in Pekin, because I do not Know the name of the tiny village where she lives and China is HUGE ! Nobody would be able to find her by her Canadian name because she changed to chinese name and chinese passeport which he beholds.
