Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.

I feel utterly worthless all too much of the time. Where does that get us? It is OK to have a pity-party... for a short while. Then we have to have the self-respect and literal *courage* to turn that emotion around.
Tell me something that you love about yourself? That you do well? That you are proud of? I know there is something. Have courage. Do you know the etymology of the word "courage?" In French, it is derived from two words:
Le coeur = the heart.
L'age = maturity
Consider that... maturity of the heart. xo~p
One thing that has helped me in recovery is something I read in my rape recovery book. It said that when we think of ourselves, we must in the end focus on facts and not feelings. Even if you feel worthless and horrible, it doesn't mean you are. Feelings are not facts. We all have things we don't like about ourselves, but we are never all bad. All people are shades of grey, not black and white. And the things we don't like we can always try to slowly change. I have felt very worthless at times in my life as well...and reading that helped me at least, hopefully it can give you some light...
