Tonight was our last night in beachtown. We went out for supper by the waterfront, it was lovely. Except for when my son, the clumsiest 4 year old on the planet, tripped and fell head first on the pavement. I heard that awful thump as his forehead met the floor. I saw our lives flash before my eyes. It was one of the worst moments i have ever experienced. His forehead and nose took a good beating, all scraped and raw, poor thing. But he's fine. I scooped him in my arms and held him with all my might.
That's what it's all about, ladies. Here i am agonizing over a piece of garbage who never really gave a rat's ass about me...and all i ever need, all that is essential to me is hearing my boy cry out mamma. He needs me, he loves me, nothing else matters.

Ah. Beautiful that he has you and you have him.
Very fortunate indeed.
I am glad that he is superficially scraped up and all intact otherwise!

Ah yesss missmom...these little angels inour lives teach us so much! Many happy blessings are being sent to you and your child...so glad he is ok and that he has such a wonderful momma :)

tuesday i was rear-ended in my little toyota by one of those grossly hiked-up monster trucks. his vehicle is so high off the ground he didn't even see me UNDERNEATH HIS TRUCK. i was pushed through the intersection during rush hour traffic. he never hit his brakes, just stayed on my car!! i thought i was go to be flattened. then when i tried to change lanes to get away from him, my rear fender hooked onto his front fender for a moment, cause my car to spin around 180. i almost spun right into his rear, gigantic tire! but instead, i was facing oncoming traffic. in the middle of the frickin intersection. thank god the light had turned red and i was able to get myself and my vehicle off the road. the jack ass that almost killed me just kept going.

i walked away with a totally screwed up car, but completely unharmed. wow. if he had been six inches one way or another, he would've gone right over me. i could have ran into his tire. i could have spun into a light post or been hit by another car.

talk about perpective. you are so right. how much time do i have to waste my heart or my energy on a man that was never there for me. none. that's how much time i have for that now.

yeserday my co-worker and i had cheesecake for lunch. because life's just too short not to have cheesecake for lunch once in awhile. or to love the peole we can love. or talk to my stupid dog who always loves me back.

so happy your little son is a tuffy. i want to hug him!!

yea glad your son is ok... holy cow swelsh glad you are ok tooo... yep I need to look at the peeps in my life in a different perspective... and my animals... instead of waisting time thinking about the ones who tire me out... i am going to give myself what I need emotionally and physically... and focus on those who are in my life and I can count on to be there for me..
