If he is feeling as happy as a pig in shit, perhaps he should be let to feel this way while you go on and discover what is it you should be swimming in to make you feel better - perfume? pudding? paper lanterns? Take your pick, and don't be surprised if your choice is as dainty as his is dirty, as far removed from his as it can possibly be. Actually, by using these exact words, he is inadvertently letting out what he must be thinking of his own behaviour...and how low it is. But he can't come out and say it, because he is a N, and supposed to be celebrating his handfasting and whatnot.
Imagining what the ex love is doing with the present love of his life is one of the most vicious mind games we play with ourselves. Of course our emotional landscape responds to the changes in the weather. But you could try substituting with some other mind games that focus on you - like 'who will turn up on my 70th birthday, and what do I hope to have done by then?' Then write a report on the grand celebrations of your 70th birthday for the local paper!

Very, very insensitive posting all of this on a public forum when you two have such a recent break-up. It shows poor character and makes him look like an ass. Seriously. Hasn't it been three weeks?

Since just after Easter, so about that yes. I'm no longer friends of his on FB nor of hers, but friends tell me when I ask them. I can't help myself wanting to know what they're posting to each other. But I'm asking less and less - or trying to!

I blocked a former ex bf (didn't delete) him from any pictures that might make him feel badly. I never posted anything about my life and I often wonder about people who do this--it's a bizarre type of narcassism in and of itself.

seems unfair now, but it won't stay that way. one guy I was seeing went on a cruise with me and then broke up with me on the ship. two weeks later he's courting a much younger woman. they got married and had " the most beautiful wedding" she left him for someone else a year later. next guy was an 8-year relationship. he broke it off with me because I just didn't wanna go out drinking with him all the time and he started seeing an email friend. a few months later I start getting emails from him so I check his email messages (he didnt know I knew his password). apparently she has screaming hissy fits and they fight all the time. I saw them together few weeks ago. she looks miserable and he's gained 60 pounds of beer fat. the last guy i was seeing keeps dumping me for his ex girlfriend. she likes to do cocaine and then steal his car so she can try and kill herself in it. and me, I just keep working and paying my bills and have become very grateful that life really was fair. in the end they got exactly what they deserved.

To all the ladies here, I can testify that they will reap what they sowed at end. My own Daddy was one and he ended up paying ppl to come see about him as he slowly died. My daddy could never say he was sorry about his behavior and the things he did to others. He was always everyone elses Savior. He died a very lonely man because all the caring, loving women and ppl in his life didn't care anymore. He had used everyone up to a state of enough is enough.

My Ex is in the same place. And he can't buy his way into Heaven. Stay strong ladies!!
